Declaration of Freie Deutsche Jugend (FDJ) concerning the territory of FRG

On a cold November evening in the year of 1989, all members of the Western German Parliament rose from their seats to sing, at the top of their voices, the Western German national anthem: "Unity and Law and Freedom for the german Fatherland..". Same as it was in the times of Kaiser Wilhelm who mobilized for World War One, shouting:"I do not know political parties any more, I only know Germans." At that time as well as today all the political parties agree: To extend the german Fatherland, all class differences have to come second to the german nationalism. German capitalists and German workers hand in hand against the rest of the world.

But which event has led to the national unity of all the relevant parties of the FRG? It was nothing but the short announcement of the GDR´s gouvernment spokesman that from now on travelling into the West would be possible for GDR citizens. A souvereign state, the German Democratic Republic, recognized by the UNO and all over the world, announces the possibility for its citizens to travel into the West and immediately the FRG chancellor Helmut Kohl barks:"Germany, united Fatherland!". The leader of the Social-Democratic Party, Willy Brandt, even overtakes him saying:"Now, what belongs together shall grow together!".

In no time at all, the parties of the FRG invaded the souvereign state GDR and acted like being at home there. Just imagine this incredible act taking place in and happening to Switzerland or Austria: the reactionary bavarian party CSU holding their party conference in Bern or in Vienna and the western german parties distributing their election propaganda all over the country!

Alongside the political parties, the big banks, insurance companies and trusts entered the GDR. The old war criminals, expropriated there by rights in 1945 for their war crimes, pinched the factories, airports, buildings...the whole country. The people was lulled by the massive use of nationalist slogans like:"We are one people!" and "Germany, united Fatherland!". Under the guise of the german nationalism, the industry of the GDR was smashed, the agriculture left fallow and the banks and insurance comanies were stolen by the big banks and companies of the West. Millions of people were left without employment. In result, the ruling parties of the West told them what was left: We are all Germans!. And as the annexation of the GDR results in firing workers and in cuts in the social and educational sectors also in the West, the accompaniment is nationalism,Pan-Germanness and racism.

Since then, there is no real political opposition existing in the West, but: only Germans. The Social-Democratic Party has agreed to all reactionary measurements of the gouvernment:

• the annexation of the GDR

• the abolition of the basic right for political asylum

• the unconstitutional deployment of the german army in Europe and the world

• the splitting-up of other souvereign states in Europe like Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia

Once again, people and houses are burning in Germany. The gouvernment policy of stae racism and nationalism produces fascists who put the propaganda into action using baseball-bats and torches. Then they are allowed to continue their career in the German army, where the Minister of War is happy to welcome them. The general staff, the officers up to the highest level, are interspersed with facsists as well. So, the young soldier can perfectly train killing, looting and raping before being deployed in Yugoslavia. All this goes on with the active support of the Social-Democratic Party. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs tries to split up Yugoslavia "peacefuly" into many small pieces, for example by recognizing Croatia and Slovenia against the intention of the other European states and the USA. The republic of Czechoslovakia was split again with German help, same as in 1938. The separation of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia from the USSR has been supported massively. And in all these small states, the German influence has been increased. Croatia becomes a German vasall, for Bosnia they are printing the money, for the Baltic states they are writing the laws, in Lithuania they are paying pensions for former members of the "Waffen-SS", who killed in Hitler´s service. And if one day it might be no longer possible to increase the German influence "peacefully", the German army is ready to cross the borders and continue with military means what started in "peace".

We think: It is not going to be any better for the learning and working youth, not in the East and not in the West. The only winners are the big companies, the worst reactionaries, the racists and fascists.
